REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 5PM MONDAY, JANUARY 26th!
January Event: Organic/Local Institutional Foods
Location: REI, 750 W. American Blvd, Bloomington, MN 55420
You're not alone in wanting to have local and organic foods at conferences, institutions, and large cafeterias. But finding ample, reliable sources of ingredients and reducing waste can be a challenge. Learn about how companies are making mass-produced food healthier as well as composting, all while meeting the demands of serving large numbers of clients, on a strict budget, while trying to reduce their carbon footprint. The challenges continue but efforts by individuals and groups are pushing the boundaries of how we think about mass-produced food.
A local/organic lunch will be provided by Mississippi Market!
